Meet Nathan
Hi, my name is Nathan, and I am an owner and a founder at Tejas Roofworks + Restoration. My hope is to use Tejas to serve my community and get to know my neighbors better, including you.
A bit about me first. I am married to a beautiful woman named Shelby. She’s the gorgeous woman in the photo. We have three awesome kids who keep our home full of joy. . . and mischief.

I am an Army veteran and got my business degree from K-State University. I spent the first 15 years of my career climbing the corporate ladder in commercial real estate. I used to travel all over the country, leasing shopping malls. I still hold my real estate license and I am starting to dabble in investment property.
In 2020 I had my Jerry Maguire moment and realized it was time to own my own business. I co-founded Tejas Roofworks + Restoration with my good friend Jared. So far so good.
I get to spend most of my time outdoors helping friends and family feel safe and confident in their homes. I am meeting new neighbors and making new friends every day.
I guess the saying that the key to happiness is the opportunity to serve others is true, because I couldn’t be happier. I love being an advocate for our clients and giving them the confidence that Tejas is going to take care of them like family.

I started Tejas with Nathan to do two things, bring a higher level of quality and communication into an industry that needs it and build a company that makes a positive impact in the community that I can pass on to my children someday. In short, I am here for you. I can’t wait to serve you.

I am a husband and a father. There is nothing more important to me than my faith and my family. My favorite things in life are making memories with my family and stealing my wife away on a fun getaway.
Roofing is my job, but it comes from a passion for building. My hobbies include woodworking, 3D Printing, and DIY home projects. If I am not building something with my hands, you’ll probably find me staring through a camera lens trying capture astronomical objects, celestial events, or the night sky. I love me some astrophotography.
Here is some less important stuff that also makes me who I am.
I graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Biological Sciences. I played varsity golf at Mississippi State and even played professionally for a few years after graduation. I had a blast in college. I played saxophone in the Jazz Band, was president of the M-Club (a student-athlete community service organization), and was a leader in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes organization.
When it came time to get a real job, I went to work for a large medical device company. I worked my way up to territory manager, and I was responsible for managing the procurement of medical devices for all the major hospitals in DFW. I worked with some great people and did really well, but I got tired of the inefficiency and red tape in big business. Like I said, I am a builder. So, I left to build Tejas from the ground up.
A good day for me is when I get to save a neighbor from the hassle and stress of navigating an insurance claim and give them a brand new Texas tough roof. I love my job.
Meet Harrison
This is my amazing family! My wife, Hunter, is an incredible mom to these 4 precious kids, and I have the joy of being their dad and her husband – the greatest role in my life. When I’m not up on a roof, I’m hanging with them and loving every second of it. You may even see my boys hanging with me in your neighborhood.

Before joining Tejas, I was a pastor for 11 years. I’m a 6th generation pastor – loving and serving people runs in my blood. Anyone can pastor my church, only I can be the husband and father to my family. That is the greatest role any man can have. I hopped in with Tejas because I wanted to be with people, but give my best to my family. Now I get to be a dad and husband while still getting to serve and minister to my neighbors. Nathan and I led together at our church, and now we get to continue to serve and lead together in our community with our team.
I love creativity, art, board sports, sitting by a fire with friends, and sipping good whiskey. I’m 6’6” but the shortest in my family. I love people and love being outside anytime I can.
Our Ross family mission is to bring life and flourishing to our home, our community, and future generations. Now I get to do that apart of the Tejas family as well! I would love to meet you and have the privilege of serving your family to help bring life and flourishing to your home.

Hi, my name is Christian, I am a Project Manager for Tejas Roofworks. Serving the community and engaging with my neighbors is why I joined the Tejas Roofworks family. I am excited to meet and be able to serve you!
Quick detour into a day in the life of myself. I’m from East Texas and grew up in Greenville. I am married to my best friend, and yes she is the better half, Kassie. We have 2 beautiful girls, shout out to all of the GIRL DADS. We love our family time, regardless of if we are playing games, traveling (our travels usually involve beaches), or running around the neighborhood chatting with neighbors.

I graduated from Texas A&M-Commerce with a Masters in Business Administration. I spent 10 years as a defense contractor climbing the corporate ladder. As a defense contractor we speak a lot about the “mission”, helping our military personal abroad and at home. The mission at Tejas Roofworks is to serve our neighbors by providing peace of mind and ease in the roofing process. The mission was a big driving force for me as a defense contractor and is why I jumped at the opportunity to work with Tejas Roofworks. It is about helping people.
Other not as important facts, I am slightly addicted to CrossFit and golf. I love being outside and fixing anything that breaks, even if sometimes the one who breaks it is me.
To wrap it up, this big thing called life is all about people…loving, serving, and engaging people. I’m excited and humbled to be able to do that with Tejas Roofworks for our neighbors and for the community.

Our Process
Inspection and Consultation
We do a thorough inspection of all roofing areas to assess damage and collect photos and videos so we can discuss your roofing needs and educate you on the process.
Insurance
Meeting
We will speak with your insurance company and meet with your adjuster to ensure that all areas of damage are properly identified and covered.
Project
Preparation
Our team will assist with material selection based on your needs and preferences. We will also coordinate the claim adjustment, ordering of materials, delivery, and sub-contractors necessary to restore your property.
Project
Execution
We will schedule the project to minimize the disruption to you and your family. During work, we will install all necessary safety and protective equipment to protect your property during the project. Most residential projects will be completed in one day.
